2013-2014 Financial Aid Information
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) became available January 1, 2013. Vanguard’s school code is 001293. Funding for need-based aid with limited allocations and/or budgets – including SEOG – cannot be guaranteed if the FAFSA was submitted after the March 2 priority deadline. This is a firm deadline even for need-based aid previously awarded in 2012-2013.

In addition to the FAFSA, students must submit the SPS/ECE Financial Aid Application.
2013-2014 Forms and Documents
Once you receive your Financial Aid Award Packet from the Financial Aid Office, you will be expected to read Understanding Your Financial Aid. This information will provide you and your family with an understanding of Financial Aid requirements and expectations you must adhere to in order to renew Financial Aid for future academic years. 2013-2014 forms and documents should be used if you are enrolling in the fall 2013, spring 2014 and summer 2014 semesters.
Verification Documents
If you are selected for financial aid verification or have missing and/or incomplete supporting documentation, you will be notified via your Vanguard email. The Financial Aid Office has implemented a two week deadline for submission of all requested documentation. For returning students, financial aid will not be awarded until all necessary documents are submitted.
